Biography
Shadar Logoth was formed in 2003 by Eaton and Denson. After recording their first sampler with original drummer Nick Alley, Shadar Logoth completed itself with like-minded musicians Ardroth of Bothildir on drums, and Chris Michaud on keys.
Shadar Logoth are passionate about the music that they make and about metal in many of its forms. The band's first widely released demo contains songs that are not only heavy but also musically interesting. The music is influenced by various styles of metal(thrash/black/death/doom/dark) and mixed with melody and atmosphere. The four tracks on the self produced 2006 demo give a glimpse into Shadar Logoths unique take on metal, ranging from extremely epic and classically influenced to scathing and brutal.
On Sept. 3rd, 2008 Shadar Logoth released Curse, which has already received excellent reviews from around the web.
